Freelance Horse Rider

I am an experienced, lightweight, and quiet freelance rider working across disciplines including dressage, show jumping, and eventing. I am confident and adaptable with a wide range of horses and pride myself on being reliable, professional, and sympathetic in my approach. I am also a fully qualified ride judge for both CHAPS and TSR.
As a freelance horse rider, I am a self-employed equestrian professional providing flexible, on-demand services to horse owners. These include schooling, training, hacking, and competition riding. I am responsible for my own insurance, tax, and scheduling, and regularly work with multiple clients to maintain horses’ fitness, produce youngstock, and support the schooling of more sensitive or challenging horses.
I charge £40 an hour, please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.
Horse Riding Instructor

As a horse-riding instructor, I teach riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on safe, effective riding and long-term skill development. I create tailored training programmes to suit leisure riders, those looking to improve their skills, or riders aiming for competition in disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, and eventing.
I place strong emphasis on rider safety, clear communication, horse welfare, and confidence building. My qualifications include the British Horse Society (BHS) Stage 2 in coaching and this year I intend to take my BHS stage 3 coaching certificate in order that I can be an Accredited Professional Coach and my name can be added onto the international board for Equine coaches. I am known for a patient, supportive teaching style, adapting lessons to each rider’s individual needs.

In the event of a short-notice cancellation (within 24 hours) due to poor weather or frozen ménages, full payment will be required to cover loss of work. Alternatively, I am happy to offer a Mini chiropractic treatment (1 hour) for your horse in place of the lesson.
