I mainly work in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire – however I would consider taking on work further afield if requested, so even if you are outside these areas, please feel free to contact me to discuss potential options.
My standard treatment charges apply in all areas within a 25-mile radius of my base location (DE55 4AW).
Over this distance, an additional mileage charge of up to 75p per mile may have to be applied – however where possible I will always try and consolidate ‘out of area’ appointments - and if I am able to make another call in the same area on the same day, the additional travelling charge will be reduced accordingly, or where possible waived entirely.

Payment will be welcomed via Bank Transfer or cash on the day please. Unfortunately cheques will not be accepted.
It should be noted that in the case of both horses and dogs, Massage Therapists must acknowledge and respect the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Exemption Order 2015, by never working upon an animal without gaining prior veterinary approval. Veterinary advice is always paramount in the care of your animal, however by gaining their consent to massage therapy, your Vet can provide details on relevant diagnosed medical conditions, such that the massage treatment session can be tailored to the specific needs of your animal. The health and wellbeing of your animal is always of the utmost importance in any treatment I provide.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOUR HORSE OR DOG HAS HAD A VACCINATION/BOOSTER JAB, I WILL NOT PERFOM MASSAGE UNTIL A 2 WEEK PERIOD HAS ELAPSED SINCE THE JABS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT THE TIME YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

I am a fully certified, licenced, and insured equine and canine massage therapist with extensive understanding of the musculoskeletal system and how tense spots can impact the animal’s health.

My expertise, and training has been focussed primarily on muscular–skeletal related conditions, therefore I am able to competently identify and treat issues relating to the muscles, however I do not have the more extensive knowledge of a Veterinary Surgeon.
Whilst I would expect this to happen very infrequently, if I believe your animal requires treatment which is outside my area of expertise, if necessary I will end the treatment session early, and recommend you seek further advice from a veterinarian, where I believe this to the appropriate course of action - however in such circumstances the full cost of the planned massage therapy treatment will still be chargeable.
Before receiving treatment, please ensure your horse is clean and dry. The entire cost of the planned treatment will still be payable if I am unable to treat the horse because it is muddy or wet.
Regarding your horse's disposition and/or willingness to be handled, kindly be truthful. I will always try my best to treat your horse, but I do retain the right to cease or refuse treatment at any time should I feel that to continue would put me at undue risk of injury. In such circumstances the entire cost of the planned treatment will still be payable.
Before receiving treatment, please make sure your dog is clean and dry. Please also ensure that your dog has not been fed in the 90 minutes before the appointment time as massage will impair your dog’s body to digest food. The entire cost of the planned treatment will still be payable if I am unable to treat the dog because it is muddy or wet, or been fed too close to the appointment time.
Regarding your dog’s disposition and/or willingness to be handled, kindly be truthful. I will always try my best to treat your dog but I do retain the right to request your dog be muzzled, or if not to cease or refuse treatment at any time, should I feel that to continue would put me at undue risk of injury. In such circumstances the entire cost of the planned treatment will still be payable.
Cancellation Policy
It is understood that occasionally you may need to cancel your appointments at short notice, and I kindly request that you provide as much notice as possible if you do need to re-arrange your appointment – and where possible I will always try to arrange another appointment in your vacated slot – however to protect my income, if necessary I also reserve the right to charge late cancellation fee’s as detailed below:
Cancellation less than 24 hours before appointment – 100% of the planned treatment cost will be payable
Cancellation less than 48 hours before appointment – 50% of the planned treatment cost will be payable
Cancellation more than 48 hours before the appointment - no charge due
